Family

My husband and I have been married for 19 years.  I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, cooking, camping and fishing, and crocheting.  We have three dogs, Buddy, Jack, and Chloe. My special dog, Brandy passed away on August 3, 2008 at the age of 17 1/2.

My daughter, Makayla is a 10th grader at Lincoln High School.  She plays the violin and clarinet. She plays in the LHS Marching Band and played on the softball team in 2011.. Hunter, my son, is in the fifth grade at Discovery Elementary. He took up playing the trumpet this year. His interests are playing with friends.

Credentials

My teaching experience started in 1990 when I accepted a middle-school science position on the island of Guam.  While at F. B. Leon Guerrero Middle School, I taught General Science and Earth Science.  At semester time, I was transferred to the business education department at Simon Sanchez High School.  There, I took on the adventure of  yearbook advisor and cheerleading coach/advisor and taught keyboarding and accounting I and II until I moved back to the states in June of 1993.  We decided to settle in Sioux Falls.  In the fall of 1993, I taught computer-science at Southeast Technical Institute (part-time) until a full-time position at Nettleton Career college opened in 1996.

I started my career at LHS in 1997 when I accepted the position of building computer specialist.  I also taught one class of Tech Ed.  In 1998, I was hired as a full-time science teacher.  Courses taught were biology and physical science.  In the fall of 1997, I moved to the computer department where I took on the duties of teaching desktop publishing, programming, multimedia I and II.

In 1999, I started my own business with Mary Kay Cosmetics as an independent consultant-- http://marykay.com/cwooledge
